Rajasthan Travel Tips You Need to Know About

Rajasthan - a homeland of royals. Rajasthan has the quality of being made full of colors. Their colors, like Jaipur, know cities here as pink cities, Jodhpur as a blue city, and Jaisalmer as a golden city. It's one of the most popular and loved destinations for travelers.

Travelling through Rajasthan is quite an experience. To have a memorable adventure, here are some travel tips to guide you through planning a better trip.

1. The span of days of your stay.

Rajasthan has big cities. The major cities to watch out for in Rajasthan are Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, and Jaisalmer. These cities have many things to explore. Therefore plan your days so that you don't miss out on anything.

Note down the important sections you want to cover, like palaces, shopping areas, monuments, famous eateries, etc., and increase your days accordingly. But a minimum of 2-3 days for each city is a must.

2. Select the place to stay that suits you.

Finding a hotel is a task. As you insert your city name on the hotel booking sites, you will receive various options, ultimately creating a big confusion. But can solve the confusion. Select the hotel which fulfills your choice. Many palaces have been converted into hotels giving you a feel of royalty.

Rajasthan is all about royalty, and if you get an opportunity to live in royalty, then why not grab it. Many big hoteliers like Taj have converted palaces into hotels combining luxury with royalty. The Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur is among the best hotels in Rajasthan, with a mesmerizing view of being situated in the middle of the lake. At Jaisalmer, the dessert tents are worth the stay and experience, situated near the dunes.

Therefore select the hotel which suits your desires and pockets.

3. Choose the right weather.

Weather plays an important role while travelling, and in Rajasthan, it does. The weather in Rajasthan is a bit more. Like in summers, the temperature exceeds upto 47 degrees, and in winters, the temperature drops to 10 degrees.

The best time to visit Rajasthan is from October to February. The weather is pleasant, and during December and January, the winters are amazing.

Summers are not preferable to travel to Rajasthan because the scorching heat and sand storms can be problematic.

4. Fort-Monuments-Dessert, pen it down.

Rajasthan has a world in itself. There are forts, monuments, desserts, famous food places, and the females 1st love shopping. But the question arises how to cover everything?

Note down all the famous places and accordingly make your full-day tour plans. That will help you not miss anything.

Tip: In Jaipur city, there's a tour bus service that takes a day tour to all the famous places in Jaipur. It's worth a try.

5. Road trip vs. other options

Your travelling options depend on your entire tour day. If you are short of time, railways are the best options; otherwise, road trips are a wonderful experience. Road trips give you an option of flexibility as you can run according to your choice as compared to railways, where you need to get reservations beforehand.

Contact a car rental service in Jaipur for road trips and get the best taxi services. The benefit of hiring a taxi is that you can en-route your trip to cover places like Ranakpur and Mount Abu, which are worth visiting.

Taxi hiring also benefits from travelling within the city without any hustle.

6. Carry clothes according to the season

In Rajasthan, you need to wear clothes according to the season. If you are planning a trip during summers, carry cotton and comfortable clothing which are easily breathable. If you are travelling between October and February, carry comfortable clothes but with an add-on of jackets for evenings. Don't forget to carry all your winter clothes during December and January.

At the end of the trip

With all the tips and planning, the most important part of the trips is to make memories. Create life memories and cherish them.
